Some great stuff on here.

Nothing to report myself (yet) sadly.

I did (true) once write to the British Antarctic Survey, requesting a position. I said that although I had no formal relevant certifications I was familiar with:
- the ice box of my fridge freezer, and
- the works of Vaughan Williams.

They replied that regretfully they had no positions currently available for one with my qualifications :(

I have done a Trip to Dubrovnik in 2009 accross the alps and down the croatian coast.

Earlier this year I went to Morocco with friends.

I have a Blogg I have written about the trip here: http://mudandknobblies.blogspot.com/
I hope it can Inspire you I'm only about half way through now and will finish it soon.

My next adventure I am planning is a few days exploring mid wales (I still class this as an adventure) then hopefully going to start a big 12 - 18 month trip in 2013.

The big adventure was to South Africa via the east coast route (then we swapped to the west coast via Zimbabwe and Botswana) best and only year long holiday ever. Dozens of trips around France and most of the rest of Europe - all travels since 1985 with wifey and long may it continue.

Looking forward to Nordkapp, India and New Zealand

Mmmm - all the usual suspects really re. Europe and North Africa before giving up the day job and taking off on an eighteen year old BMW.

Then drove to Australia - crossed it - shipped to Chile and then meandered up to Toronto.

Been bored every since..................

New Zealand several times, Oz several times, Hong Kong and Singapore several times, Morrocco and some of the Med, but I would love to do a complete lap of the med. France, Germany and most of Europe. Iceland (brilliant)Norway above the artic circle several time, seen the northern light several time, must admit the first time they scared the crap out of me, we were being naughty and all of a sudden a very odd light comes on :pinch: Cairibian, North America, South Atlantic, Falklands (probably my biggest adventure  ) South Georgia
Where do I want to go, well just about everywhere, South America, Africa would love to walk with the "Bushmen". Communist Europe, previous job stopped me.
Just re read list I always think I have never been any where but I think I've seen a fair amount

Cheers Spud ;)

How could I forget my 50th birthday prezzie off the Mrs, a ticket to Japan so I could climb Fuji to watch the sunrise. I fell in love with Japan and would of happily stayed there. Lots of bike's and modded scooters (race pipes  ) every where.

cheers Spud ;)
