Not at all mate :)

You look like someone from ABR that found some info about adventure riding and brought to the attention of the forum. That inspired debate and conversation about the article and about the wider aspect of legalities in the European field of riding. Not only that but your post has sparked conversational posts on MAG that people may not have heard of.

Good effort and good find ;)

Why do you look like an idiot mate???

We were all 21 once. Like James691 said, you have brought debate to the forum and that's what forums are about. Now find us some more info. B)

oh well more s**** from MCN then

it's that dog eared mag you find in the doctors waiting room when you are bored shit less
and you have finnished reading about depression and STI's etc.

No threat to the ABR!
only recently discovered the mag, and I love it.

Articles like that will hopefully inspire other mags to do the same, and this will benefit the Adventure Riders out there. I have never been a slave to just one brand and that competition is what companies need to stay on there toes.

I think it's good PR for Adventure Bike Riders in general, being that most bikes being purchased are Adventure type bikes & not Race Reps.
It's been proved by the likes of the Yamaha WSB Team pulling the plug on the 2012 season.
I'm sure MCN aka "The Comic" will put some spin on the article or may cut & paste some paragraphs which we may have read from other mags etc.
I don't see it as a problem, but promoting their readers to pick up & read ABR "Hurrah !"

Think some people on here need to get e grip. In the last couple of years I have noticed a lot more 'them and us' attitudes to different types of bikes and bike riders. Something like MCN tries to cater for all tastes and although I dont buy it often I may buy this issue as the enclosed pamphlet looks like it may be of interest to me. After I read that I'll probably move to the back page and read the sport section because i like racing and sports bikes too

Won't stop me from buying next months ABR, or talking to my HOG riding friends, or reading about motor cross either. Ours is a wide and varied family.

Live and let live, if you don't like it don't buy it....

agreed buddy ive an rsvr for scratching and touring and a drz for trails and commute when im on either bike the other style dont nod wave or want to chat as your one of those others

as for mags ride and bike have produced some really good articals of late

as for MCN its hard to take it seriously on any leval, in the not so distant past they showed a clip about a 250 in the dirt however at the start of the clip it shows the area as a bridleway not a byway

thanks mcn

but lets see maybe they have done a good job this time

Well I decided to buy it this week and read the (very) lightweight pamphlet on the "new, just discovered by MCN, niche of Adventure Bike Riding" (OK I'm joking) ;)

As far as it goes an interesting 15 minutes read but certainly no threat to ABR!

It did seem to imply that Adventure Biking was some big secret that most bikers aren't aware of but we know better don't we boys and girls

And if that's the case who's buying all the Adventure style bikes instead of sports bikes

Isn't it rebranded as Visor Down?
