I have a steel clad/roofed shed and I have used bubblewrap under the roof and around the walls to stop condensation. Cheap and reasonably effective.Staple it to battens on the roof beams and wall uprights.I used packaging quality but you can get foil coated, more effective & more expensive.

I have a concrete garage that has a steel roof. Used to get lots of condensation so I took the roof off, put down that membrane (really for underneath a tile/slate roof and put the steel back on top of that. Problem solved (as far as the roof goes)

The bike still gets condensation on it :/

I've used the fabric backed profile steel sheet on my roof and it doesn't suffer from condensation or drips from a frozen roof warming up.
We've also used the modern roofing felt material for other roofs and it works well.

My dad's shed has been up for getting on 35 years and that's built using a concrete base with DPC, blocks for the bottom 3ft and then a timber frame, the whole lot is then clad in wood. The original shed was Cedar and those bits are still in good condition but the additional wood looks like it needs replacing at the bottom. The wall gives a good fixing for his bench.

Arrived as a kit on a truck from Europe, really easy to build and great information on what is needed re base etc on the site. Two of us built it in a couple of days onto a prepared base, took a couple more days to fit roof shingles and paint (3 coats).

Would use them again if I needed to do it again.

Hmm, I've just finished building my own from scratch, timber form a yard, design on back of envelope. Price wise very similar to the storage shed - but mine's 30% bigger - apart form the yagyht varnish which is essential here in the Spanish sun @ 750 metres ...

So a close call - apart form the fact that delivery here wood be , er, another matter ... but the pride, the pride! (thumbs)
