Motorcycle rider gets rammed by car he was harrasing

Found a great video then post it up here. It doesn't have to be about bikes.

I think the only folks who came out well were the two truckers comimg the opposite way - I guess the last thing they needed was to get caught up in witness statements, etc., but they both obviously thought of the biker first - and quite possibly clocked the car driver one too!

Makes you think - someoner pulled out of a village side road right in front of me on Sunday, in the middle of a long journey. If the scene wasn't the village square which I could swerve into I would have had an impact. Yup, I blasted my horn as I followed the wretch through the village - but at least had time to think - 'ride cool, ride safe' and let it go - if you lose your cool you're going to lose it all one day - 'real' truckers know this :)

Aren't they just new rules for the UK because if this was a british road the car was on the inside lane  don't know where this was??

The car driver was probably looking for the bikes reg plate
It was Russia and the car driver can think himself lucky if he didn't get a bullet between the eyes.

I've lost count of the number of cars I've got fed up with when they sit in the outside lane dawdling along without a care for anyone else but my normal response is to undertake them then cut back as hard as I can so they know exactly what my views on them are. I wouldn't chance brake testing them but I can't stop myself thinking that if the guy in the car was on the phone the majority of people blaming the biker would be wanting him jailed. Was this the case? We don't know why the bike acted so aggressively so was there something that the video didn't show up?

It doesn't really matter because it's happened and nothing will change the consequences but for all those slagging the rider off my only comment is don't cry if you get knocked off and the way it happens makes it look bad for you.

so what if some jerk is dawdling along in the outside lane without a care in the world, let him, who gives a fu*k, it not worth getting killed over is it, just pass him and forget about it,

we dont know what happened before that, but you dont go fu*king around like this biker did in the video, it was an accident waiting to happen so it was,

did the biker think he owned the road or something, well he just found out the hard way that he doesnt

Not the cleverest move I've ever seen :pinch:

You can't act aggressively on a bike no matter the justification. At times like that clear your mind, go Zen, flick them the finger & open up the throttle.

There's a reason there are so many youtube clips from Russia, he wasn't filming his journey for a ride report. They all drive / ride like loons.

Hope the guy survived, thankfully just a slide & was wearing gear

You can speculate what might have led to this altercation... but no one really knows what happened beforehand.
The biker may have been stupid to put himself in that position, but if that car driver did ram him on purpose, then there's absolutely no excuse for it.

Think there's fault with both the bike and the car.
However, whats disturbing when watching that video is the car driver's complete
disinterest in whether he's killed the biker or not. His delay in getting out of the
car, his little token inspection of the damage to his bumper. He is looking at the front
of his car so surely can see another car approaching the accident scene but he makes no
attempt to slow the car down as it rapidly approaches a body and bike on the road.
Forgetting the rights and wrongs and whose fault it was etc, its surely a demonstration
of arrogance, lack of compassion and disregard for human life. As someone else pointed
out previously, the only semblance of humanity in the clip is shown by the truckers who
appear to be pulling in with a view to assisting.

Yes, sorry, should have paid more attention - it's obviously not the UK and, of course, in some other parts of the world the value of your life is measured by the colour of your skin or what you are riding/driving
