Hi Jaz- when posting up various youtube vids on the thread i came across his blog-i then remembered having read his earlier blog-and seen his earlier videos when he was planning to actually do the trip. I had forgotten to follow it.
so i found it by mistake again, viewed the new videos, saw the abandoned earlier attempt and 2nd attempt about to start so decided it was worth giving Bruce his own thread here.
On reading his blog from before i was touched by him losing his mum to cancer. I lost my mum to cancer too in 2008 and when i saw some of his good causes i thought i would do what i can from my end.
So knowing him jaz? nope. although recently ive started dialogue with him via email as he started the renewed trip. Bruce responds regularly and is appreciative of any help he gets.
After watching Oisins round the world (not dead yet) adventure and seeing this one unfold, i'm green with envy and would love to have been able to do such a trip. As i cant, i will happily follow other peoples rtw adventures and enjoy the stories and experiences they try to share with the wider audience.
Another reason why youll find me posting up the threads of short adventure biker you tube vids or the documentary vids, trying to source the better ones and group them into single threads.
A long winded answer jaz to a simple question. there you have it

ill keep bumping it along as he posts up more news, the trip unfolds, or something of interest happens.
Just thought it might interest a variety of people who subscribe here, some already rtw veterans, some wannabbe rtw and some unable for various reasons, or some unlikely to?. there might even be a few whove never ridden out of england? and some who enjoy being armchair adventurers? hopefully teapots and others i find can be appreciated for the effort they make in sharing their adventure to us all? after all, when travelling global distances and taking pictures, videos re riding same turf/tarmac, some adventurers would gladly continue riding on, i appreciate those that make the effort to show the world from another perspective, giving their time..
cheers corbs:-)
