Gripper 1974

Done.

For the benefit of ID, I'll be arriving late on Friday night swathed in Hi Viz, on my son's GSXF Teapot as my Strom is indisposed.

I am assuming the rideout will leave saturday morning , time has not been posted on this thread yet .

So........

When you arrive at the campsite , find HQ . pay your dues and Say your on the fishing list we will point out PeterT's tent / Bike ..

So you can discuss the arrangements in person, since its a small group ..

DMS: Should be plenty of space, Jimmy and T Junior have had to drop out.

Andy: We can fish either Morning or afternoon depending on what the weather is doing. We're only 1/2 - 3/4 hour away from Altandhu, so it'll be easy to get there whenever. I'm figuring on a coastal run From Newton to Altandhu before or after. Either way, we'll set off between 9 and 10 depending on who else is heading out. Don't want to get embroiled in someone else's ride out.

LWR: Tent/Bike is pretty apt, I'm trialling a new bivvy design I've been working on. ;-)

Sorry folks, not good news for us. My aquaintance has to "make hay while the sun shines" and is currently overworked prawn fishing. He has given back word on saturdays trip. Shame, but then he was doing us a favour, its not what he's in business for.

I've made other enquiries and the only other boat available is booked for saturday and sunday but may be available for friday if folks are still interested. I won't be there friday but I'd be very happy to continue enquiries on your behalf.

There is another boat but it currently has its engine in bits and may not be ready for the weekend.

So, the question is, how do peeps feel about friday, "if" the boat becomes available? Obviously there would now be a charge.

Thats a shame , peter

Plenty of rock marks for a spot of fishing , our rods are packed anyways , may even have a cast off the campsite

Re: Angling at Ullapool ........ may be cancelled. Read last post.
