Re: ABR Midlands Rally 2017 sign up thread (7th-9th July)
Hi, any chance I could be added to the list along with possibly 2 others?
Is this adv bikes only or are we ok to turn up with pogo's? I also have an 950adv which I may bring although it could really do with checking over as it has been mostly garaged for a few years due to other commitments.
Is it camping only or can my brother bring his camper? I'm happy in a tent but I've not used my tent in about 4 years so I need to get it put up in the garden to ensure it doesn't leak too much.
Are the rideouts full? If not, is there a pogo ride or is it bigger bikes?
Usually I'd do just about all on the 950 but as it has been garaged so long I don't know if it'll be ok although it went through an mot last week.

Hi BlueUk, the 950 would be spot on for this event, you'll be in good company. Most all people will be camping.BlueUK wrote:Hi, any chance I could be added to the list along with possibly 2 others?

The ride outs are never full though there can be quite a few in a group - to say the least. Again, the 950 would be fine for the green lane ride outs.

I've just had some good news for all attending the Midlands rally. KTM have just told me they are going to buy breakfast on the Sunday morning for all those camping over on the Saturday night.
What a fine gesture, thank you KTM, make mine a full English. Hugh the food van man is in for a busy time.

Hi, I think the issue I have is that as I've not ridden my 950adv in the past few years is whether it will be ok for any rideouts or even if it'll survive a ride on the track so I was thinking whether to bring my 450exc but I don't want to bring the 450 if everyone is on adventure bikes if that makes sense.Alun wrote: Hi BlueUk, the 950 would be spot on for this event, you'll be in good company.
