Headed out on a bike run yesterday (Thursday) on my Suzuki V-Strom DL1000, I met up with a friend Richard who rides a Triumph 1200 Explorer, then rode through central Scotland to;
Crieff/Small Glen/Glen Quaich/Kenmore/Glen Lyon/Ben Lawers/Killmahog/Callander/Doune route etc, love that we run on two wheels, simply awesome!!!
Gave bike a quick shine/polish and oiled chain before setting off, sitting like new.

Rode 145 miles total, an awesome bike run! It even stayed dry..........amazing.

today i am converting the front brake on the Royal Enfield to a disc set up.

this is my project ABR winter bike :P the engine is now modified to a 535cc with a alfa mod crank,bigger valves ,cams,amal carb,lagger output alternator etc.
its been fun doing this to a very cheap bike , the aim was to have an economical light weight bike that easy to repair , these bikes are extremely tuff with the mods i have done it should be ultra reliable.
80-90mpg and will hold around 60mph all day so not that bad!!!
pick the right roads and its as good as anything else on the road but with better economy.

not for everyone but a change from the normal GS-TENA- etc
