I usually go DFDS which if you book a bit in advance is 17pounds.
The tunnel usually works out @ 34pounds.
Depends how much of a hurry your in.
Half an hour against one & half hours + waiting time.

I also find the ferry a bit more fun. The "Boat Ride" across the channel seems to be a more apt start to a continental holiday.

Still either will do on this long haul jaunt.
Lightness is everything.

Lightness with Grunt is a Scratcher!

An Adventure is not a tank transfer.

Just a reminder I will be travelling from the UK to this meeting and will be taking a quick route through western Europe and then find some gentle bimbling lanes through the eastern part ( Czech republic , Slovakia, Hungary, Romania) and stopping at a few sites aswell taking in the and Stella alpina Transfagarasan passes.
the trip for me will be hotels all the way and maybe a few stops en route such as the church of bones .
I am open to leaving dates at the moment, Martin may be joining me so if any body wishes to ride with us you will be welcome.
i am still in Bulgaria with martin at the moment and we shall have a few road tours for you and we have a few off road tours for those that wish to go off road we shall have a few trails mapped out.
Most of the planning and maps i hope to do over winter and spring.
With all the guy's and gals that are going out on this trip i would suggest this would be a great opportunity for those of you that could find this sort of trip intimidating to join with a group and come along.

If you mean the £10 Motocamp rooms you will have to book this with Polly or Ivo at the Motocamp directly.

There are only a limited number of rooms so early booking is essential (plenty of camping room though) - the Motocamp will request payment for the rooms by Paypal sometime much nearer the event.

If anyone has problems booking accommodation please contact me or Mark (Bushman).

Just to make it clear we are not associated with the Motocamp in any way other than we are friends with the owners - this trip is the brainchild of my good pal Mark (Bushman) and our time and efforts to bring this ABR meeting to you all is done freely without reward. Our enjoyment will come when we introduce you to this wonderful area of Bulgaria.

That's great. But have we a defeated date? Or is it just book to the trip?

Arrival at the Motocamp is scheduled for 25th August - we anticipate most will stay for 5 days to a week but you can stay as long or as short as you like.

That's great as I should be on dover dock's on the 18th. Have sent e mail to book a twin. As I am on my own. I should pick up a share at £10. What's that £50/70 for how long.

One other thing. I may be coming on a ZZR 1400. So off road for me is a no no. The reason is. I'm off to other place's after this meet.
