400 has just cost a bomb to put right and 640 needs a new cam and followers/rockers.
Bread and water for me for the next millenium
Sorry Ann,

only one planned for this year. And all depends on how successful it is as to wether there will be one next year. Like I said, unique opportunity to ride to an island for the night.

You need to replace your fleet of "Keeps Taking Money" machines. Mine was a bottomless pit......but saying that the Husky is still costing me just as much to keep off road.
I think its the way we ride and service them Mike
Shame, we will have to have a Peaks meet up then at some point :)
Hope the weather is good for you, enjoy the weekend :)

Big smiles :) bike coming back tomorrow, thankyou to Southport Superbikes for (yet again) exceptional service. Had a nasty do with my chain snapping and doing some damage. Only got a top box on (F650GS) and some throwover panniers yet to be played with, so will be spending the next few days figuring out how to get 2 sleeping bags a tent 2 mats and an 11 year old on ready for the Piel weekend.

Would have travelled up on the friday too, but unfortunately I am working nights on the friday night (12 hours) so will try to grab an hour on the sofa on Saturday morning before setting off about 11:00ish, hoping for a reasonably lively night to keep me awake on the Saturday night.

Ok I'm up for this. Been lurking for some time now but can't ignore an ABR event on my doorstep. I went across to Piel on the ferry a couple of weeks ago in what felt like a force five. Hope the ride over is less eventful :woohoo:
