Got the yellow paint off mine, Nitromors paint remover, leave it on for 30 seconds then rub off with a rough cloth and wash off residue. Can't see it damaging the plastic as its nowhere near as corosive as it was years ago and doesn't damage the plastic container that comes with the tin for use when applying. Thinners also does the trick but just takes more elbow grease.

This is how I found the best place to install mine! (excuse the state of the garage!!) used a 120mm hose clip from B&Q and they come in packs of two for £2.98 i think.I now need another one for the other side to balance them up! money sent Jason! (thumbs)
