Glad to see nobody's mentioned my moaning about the Tiger or dealer yet!

Right, you want the truth about the Tiger?

The bike's as sweet as a nut, I've had mine almost a year now, over 6k miles, around eight Euro countries touring, even been to the top of the mountain at the Stella Alpina rally in Italy offroad and apart from a couple of electrical faults the bike has never missed a beat.
The finish is as good as I've seen, mine has been laid up for the worst of the winter so can't really comment on how the bike survives salt but mine is as good as the day it was bought. Spokes, unlike some manufacturers, still shiny and the podwercoating on the frame is very tough. All studs are still nice and shiny and no sign of corrosion. Excellent build quality.
The lights are very good in comparison to the older Triumphs and the high output alternator churns out the power for all those electrical goodies we ABR's must have nowadays! The computer seems pretty accurate if not a bit pessimistic regarding fuel use, mine averages 54mpg which is pretty good for the output of the motor.
The engine is so sweet it's beyond belief, power delivery's different from a twin though and could be partly to blame for some of the stalling issues. Mine never suffered the stalling issue that caused the recall but I have stalled the bike a couple of times after getting off the Vara due to lack of revs!
The gearbox is so slick it puts a Suzuki in the shade! Although the gears are hardly used once it's up and running as it'll pull from 25mph in 6th gear!
Power is very smooth and will lift the front wheel off the throttle if provoked and I'll not mention the double the UK speed limit the bike will pull!
One of the best bikes I've ever owned and have no hesitation in recommending it.

My problems I've had with mine were a couple of electrical faults which one was fixed by the dealer and another which has recurred, I've dealt with personally. Servicing has been another problem with me due to logistics, too far from my local dealer but once the bike turns two yrs old I'll take over the servicing myself. As some will know I've had issues with Triumph themselves and their dealership but that's a personal issue and not to detract from what is a fantastic bike.
Honda, the power of dreams.

I've had mine since March 2011, now on 11750 miles - never missed a beat, not used a drop of oil - it really is a great bike on and off road.
