bought the biktec one and just done the elephant run superb heated arms back front neck includes controler 2 year garintee in bike mag a few weeks back it came same place as the kias and both came higher that the gerbins so cant be bad at all

I have exo2 storm vest and gerbings gloves. Thought the exo gloves were very poor quality but the vest is excellent. Probably made by different firms.

Makes riding fun in the cold. Oh, plastic bags over your feet (under your socks) sorts the feet out. Bliss.

I have the Keis heated kidney belt. I bought it just before Christmas but have only just started using it because I ordered the accessory plug and the two don't actually fit together, you'll need an adaptor (which they supplied to me FOC). It works very well by heating the blood in the kidneys which then circulates around the rest of your body. Total cost £45.

I back that up with a heated, sleeveless fleece from Maplin which runs on six AA batteries and lasts for around 2 hours on a charge. Cost £20.

I am on a limited budget so this was best solution for me and works very well indeed!

best thing about heated clothing is this, you can go out and play in the snow :laugh:

My Keiss heated jacket is going back to the supplier because it either isn't working properly or it's out and out rubbish.

Keiss inner gloves work well enough, the heated insoles are excellent but the jacket left me feeling decidedly cold and even when I got home from the elefant and just plugged it in and left it on the bike to see if it warmed up it barely felt warm to the touch. It must be a defective one because nobody could deliberately sell something that poor.

I'll resist saying avoid until they've had it back and said if they think it's ok.

I have had the gerbing gloves about ten years they don't get used much but still work ok

I have got the keis gillet it works great but you have to get the right size, a nice tight fit on top of your base layer and with the controller works the best for me

Great price, good battery life, and the warmth saves you from needing to go warm up inside so you can stay on the slopes for hours! Not strictly what you were asking but I have very recently got one of the powerlet heated jackets. My good that thing is a mile better than the kies one it replaces. The heat is really penetrating even on the low power consumption d setting and at half hear. The wireless controller makes life easy when you want to adjust while riding and the quality feels good.

I have had Girbings kit for years, I get really cold (low blood pressure)in the winter I could not ride without it, I have the lot, Gloves, jacket, trousers, and socks.
I use the dule controler, I have the gloves on one channel (on full heat) and the rest of the kit on the other, (not quite as hot). Yes I have had a couple of problems, but Girbings have replaced it well out of warranty, (my jacket was about 5 years old when it was replaced FOC) You get what you pay for, and with girbings you get the best.
It's got my vote (all winter)
