Have a look at a company called LICS - located near Brand's Hatch
http://www.licsltd.co.uk/cgi-bin/esb_sh ... t=LICS_INT
Gary and co will be at The upcoming Bike Show at NEC
And ... no I don't benefit finacially from telling you about him
(just good word-of-mouth marketing)

I got a gel "numnah" from fleabay for a fiver, they are pads to relieve the pressure on hoses backs from the lardy birds and their saddles. like Dave said they get bloody hot and store the heat for ages. I now just use a Sheepskin
Conan look - its got to be the best

Hi,
I have a 650GS twin and had the seat re-modelled as too low for me. Had memory foam and a gel pad put in and still uncomfortable. I would go the Airhawk route and this is my next step if I don't sell the bike.
cheers

I also have an air hawk fitted and swear by it, I have now added a sheepskin cover over it as a mate of mine said that this combination was more comfier than a £ 400 Corbin seat he had previously! Jury's still out at the mo as I've only been out once but I seem to be able to more around easier on the seat, : )

Airhawks, never tried one and probably never will at the price they want for em!
Sheepskin all the way for me, cheap and effective.
I had (until it punctured!) a cheap inflatable bath cushion under it with just a little air in it, just enough to keep your arse off of the seat.
A little wobbly but it didn't bother me too much, especially as it was only a few quid.

Had previously thought about the gel pads from Danmedico but have not purchased one yet. Back in August Lidl had some blow up travel pillows for I think £4.95. Bought one as I was flying out to Chicago. Ended up using it to sit on as the seat in the plane was uncomfortable. Made a great deal of difference to the comfort levels. So I might now try it on the bike to see if it makes any difference. The only problem will be sorting some straps to keep it in place. Maybe I can find some cheap clip-on braces.
