Is that you Gents putting your name forward to lead a trails ride out? :)

I'll be doing the road ride so would not be able to do both but if you are willing to have a poke about then I would be happy to update the thread ;)

There does look to be some lush green rides out there!

Now I am a bit more interested in Dartmoor in Winter for some reason, especially as I have realised a mate lives just up the road so I would'nt have to camp(being a soft shandy drinker)
The secret of a long life is knowing when its time to go.

Will there be a trail ride as well, I've had a look at the map and there appear to be loads of trails to the south and east of the camp site.
Just what I was thinking ;)
As a Devon TRF guy, I can possibly lead a run out around Dartmoor and South Hams, if not I've gots lots of buddies willing to help out with leading a green lane run (Bash plates will be a must ;) ) I've got me WR250R now :) Also stop for lunch at the Hound of the Basketmeals!

I'll happily lead a ride if I'm there but it will be on a make it up as you go along basis (basically just following a gps route) not any local knowledge of whats open and what's not.

Harty, that's a great offer, I've been wanting to hit the devon lanes for sometime, and this event should help facilitate that B)

Herman – always a pleasure and you're welcome at the camp fire and ride out of course mate. There is never an obligation to camp out as you know ;)

Harty and FM Fox – Outstanding Chaps! I’m sure between you there is the makings of an excellent ‘off road’ ride out. Rather jealous that I’m doing the road ride now

Blue Paul – never fear mate, there will be a road ride and how that runs depends on the conditions on the day. It’s all very laid back and I tend to like to take in the views on my rides rather than slicing up the corners ;)

Will keep an eye on this as cant commit to owt just yet but wanted to say that for anyone sitting on the fence that you'll not go wrong either road riding or taking in some of the Lanes in the area, quite a few of these lanes I've been lucky enough to explore on my own 990 Ktm and on ocassion BMW GS in 1150 and 800 flavours, sometimes after work and in the dark of winter, driving rain and gales blowing down branches and all that kind of thing.

simply brilliant!!
