If you clicked on the *Dont have a paypal account pay by debit/credit card*
It would then allow you to make a payment from your credit card /debit card without signing up for an paypal account . (I think paypal might have changed that now)
As for checking , look for *Paypal* on your bank statements for the amount of the subscription.
As for checking with its recurring , then either give you bank a call and ask , but you would need at least the date the transaction took place (statements) .
