Never mind the five gears. Eight liter fuel tank!?! That is whole hundred miles in range. Great adventure.

Few recent bikes have tempted me more. Six gears were a great when bike powerbands had Matterhorn shape. Now that the powerbands are shaped more like Uluru, even four gears would be enough. Bigger fuel tank should be available soon. Maye Camelback will make extended range tank for this bike. Maybe Suzuki will come out with an adventure rally version with a bigger tank and a screen. I'll have to look at this in the spring.

I would imagine this is a base model and a travel version will follow with a big tank and other bells and whistles.
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Suzuki DR200 Djebel.

920mm (or 36 inch) seat height... 8-) . I've got the same 'low revs assist' and 'one touch start' electronic wizardry on my GSX-S1000F and they are both good features... 8-)

...apparently it's heavier than the old DRZ...
Suzuki GSX-S1000F...the KTM 450 EXC-R has gone

Price released in the US $8999.

That's $3.5K more than a CRF 300L and the KTM 390 Enduro R.

Not sure that's going to hit the mark.
