The bike is great but I'm aligning my bikes so that they're all flat twins.

If you read between the lines in the Airhead section in the other place you'll be able to guess. (thumbs)

Thank you for the offer and have considered in the past but as far as I'm aware the weight is the same as the 350 and as such slower than the 350 I'm sure thats not an issue off road but for road sections i would like a bit more.
Dr250 djebel is lighter and as powerful and a 6 speed box

The Suzuki DR250 is a great bike,my brother and a mate had one of the Japanese market only 250S models and they had better suspension than the 350,looked leaner and more purposeful and they moved on to Honda XR400,s then KTM 400exc,s but always lamented selling the DR250,s as they rated them as mountain goats for technical off road riding. They were not as comfortable on the road sections though. I have irons in the fire for another bike but if i didn,t i would snap up either the DR250 or the Beta Alp.

I renovated a Yamaha TTR250 for the RAF Honington motocross club for beginner riders and out of all their bikes including YZ,s WR,s,CRF,s etc is the only one to have survived the abuse the bikes have received over the past few years. I rode it a few times and i have to admit i was impressed by it,s reliability, competant handling and braking and good power. It looked a well built bike and i would certainly not rule out owning one if garage space/significant other permits :cheer:
