Hopefully they'll do the job, guess i'll find out when I head out fully loaded.
I'll see how i get on, if the weight starts to be an issue and i can be bothered i may look at farkling a little more, alot of the weight is in the lids, so could reduce slightly by removing the current latches, hinging one side then adding a smaller lock, but i doubt i'll bother expelling the effort
James - Don't know if i can claim Bad Ass since i added star wars stickers...

I'm looking at getting a 650 TA at the moment, and looking at luggage solutions. If I had the time or ability, I'd be all over that! Cracking job, looks great. You should go into business!

I've had a look for any others on Ebay but the only ones i can see are all from America (£40+ Postage), must of been lucky when i got mine.

So flea bay is out, may have to check out army surplus market stalls, you could even get pre battle scar ones...
