I think it's a great idea, but really needs it's own section as trawling through and indivdual thread to find someone with similar travel dates to you will be a nightmare.

Jon, If you can get the last weds night of the month free I set up the Bristol Adventure and Trail Bike Club, I know it's a fair way from Frome on a winter's night, but networking and finding travelling buddies was one of the reasons I set up the club.
www.bristolatbc.co.uk
I find it easier to travel with people I've met face to face, so trying to get the ABRs in the local area to meet up should facilitate this.

I think its a good idea too. Needs a separate section as FMFox suggests.
The HUBB is good but tends to be a bit too global which is not so convenient.
This forum would probably be more Europe/UK based which might suit the members more.

Agree with Mat and Crofty about separate section. Any chance one of the admin guys could do this if you're reading this?
Cheers.

Better get another bike sorted then for travel to dim and distant lands as the W reg VFR800 at nearly 38,000 miles is getting a bit old!

Yes I've read it but according to all the dealers its knackered and how does a bike do so many miles and its worthless.
Really its in great condition for its age and does not use and oil or water and has been 100% reliable and rides like previous bikes which have done a quarter of the mileage.

Love your thinking jonperry, I will be up for that.
But for experience some parties are no good for long trips together as riding styles are different, and aims are different. but for a couple days here and there I'm all for that.
Cheers
