It wasn't bad. If I'm honest the only thing that would tempt me at the moment would be the KTM 1290GT.

I bought a couple of Oxford battery chargers, the wife bought a couple of thermal tops and came this close to buying a 450 CCM but bottled it

I also blew some cash on a new KTM for the youngest granddaughter because it's going to annoy her mother. Only a 'trainer' bike that she just sits on and skates along with her feet rather than pedal but she's not 2 for another 3 weeks so it's a start.

Went today. The AT graphics look very pretty but it was already off my list at that weight. Sitting and standing ergonomics felt right but they should be after all this time. Nothing else looked especially appealing in the flesh.

Not intended but spent a long and enjoyable time on the CCM stand chatting about the 450 adv and the people who have already clocked up > 20k miles on it. Having dismissed this one beforehand it's got me thinking again.

That 1290 KTM GT "tourer" is very impressive. Insane almost practical touring comes to mind. Would be hard to justify over a good used 990 SMT or may be not. I'm glad I'm not faced with that dilema
