You haven't seen the amount of stuff I've got in there, need a shed - then all the garden stuff, bbq etc can go in that. Humm - that's got me thinking. Shed shopping at the weekend

You can easy pic up a 93 - 94 model for £750 - £800 that needs a bit of work. I've bought the odd one for £700 and it just needed £150 - £200 to get up to spec.

Sold mine, a 94 Japanese import, couple of years ago.
Owned it for seven years, very capable traille, and the electric start's nice.
Rebuilt the motor once with a 280cc piston kit, well worth the cost. :)

If you can find a good un to fit your budget you'll be happy with it. :woohoo:

Had one as my only transport for 3 years & covered just about all of Kent on it, Tarmac + Dirt, no probs.

Mine was a 1993 Jap model, White with Purple frame & wheels. Metal tank & a digital speedo. You'll be very lucky to pick one up for £1,000 though.

There's a couple on ebay, this one in a dealer in Halifax for £995
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/YAMAHA-TTR-250-EN ... 1349wt_937

and this one in Wiltshire, plus it's also the raid with the bigger tank for £850
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/YAMAHA-TTR250-TTR ... _904wt_905

Then finally this really clean one going for offers around £1100

The parts are peanuts and the repairs are a doddle

Don't be put off by the graphics peeling off or bubbling on the plastic tank version, they all do it. B)
