Any bike with a boxer engine,the bimota mantra,the hayabusa,any Harley,the xs750 & 850 yam, any bike with linked brakes.

How about all Chinese 125 customs ( shame the AJS name had to end up on some of them, disgraceful ). Suzuki Savage, Kwak GPZ 305 were fairly poor.

No I disagree ,I think the k1 was ahead of its time.cheers al

I didn't like the K1 when it was first released then blagged a go on one and thought it was a cracking bike to ride. If I could get one in good condition at a decent price I'd have it.

They're heavy because they've got a steel frame rather than an aluminium beam frame so that's no big shock. The wheelbase is a bit long so while they're good on big sweeping bends it's a bit of a wrestle on tight ones though if you pick your line out and keep the gas on a bit they're not bad.

The looks don't matter when you're riding and anyone that wants to take the piss has to catch you :laugh: I left an Aprillia RSV1000 & a Kawasaki ZX9R for dead between Ramsey & Douglas on the Isle of Man riding my lardy K1100RS when I gave a couple of friends a guided tour of the mountain course.
