Here's the thing, the winner was from Austria, spiritual home of the Nazi Party.
I think its fair to say that we have come a long way - in terms of tolerance, diversity and equality - in less than a century and I for one am very pleased about that.

Austria wasn't home to the Nazi Party, it just happened to be an Austrian living in Germany who founded it.

Hopefully it is only coincidence that he also had distinctive facial hair otherwise the world could be in trouble again.

Must admit I was confused ;) as I never watched it but only picked the story up later. The thing that confused me more were the papers talking and using the word 'she' - at first I thought it was hirsutism and I thought good on ya girl.

Then I found it was actually a fella dressed as a woman - not transgender but transvestite as far as I can read - still not a prob for me personally although the literature seems confused abut the distinction between transG and transV.

But the liberal press did intitially confuse me I must admit........

And it wasn't the best song :whistle:

I have never watched that show , just seen this clip showing the polish group , the song was painfully bad , but the girl doing the old way washing was blessed with a beautifull pair .
Sexist i know but that is the way it is :whistle:
