Ok there was a bit of light abrasion. Mainly of the white paint I had sprayed on the plastic panels.



Thanks to Xtrider for finding the indicator and thanks to PaulC for putting it back on for me. Paul also found a small pebble stuck in the rear footpeg so ive got my souvenir.

Yes washed my adventure towel. Thats a very high spec technical cloth you are talking about there Dusan. Light weight, highly absorbant, extra fast wicking of moisture away from the body, small pack size, quick drying. Thats probably why most people use them for drying dishes. hehe

Thanks for the encouragement XTrider. No problem with the bars and front wheel not pointing the same way. Probably helped going round corners. Im hoping Minkyhead might have a clip of some of the riding. It was proper intrepid. For me at least.

Ive ordered a whole new indicator unit £14. Not too bad. But the main handle bar support was £40. Ive also noticed the sleeve on my textile jacket is all ripped. Its mainly mesh so not very strong. Time to get the sewing kit out.

Harley Davidson MT 350. I dont really know much about them. I just like the set up. Ex army bikes. There is also a MT500. And I think at some point they were called Armstrongs. Im open to corrections if im talking nonsense.

Ive done a bit of googling and this is the slope. A bit rutted when we went down as a tracked vehicle had been up it.

Both the guy's riding them were top blokes, followed Dave the owner of the bike pictured, on the Sat (not keen on big groups on ride out's, n Dave was going on a gud pre planed route all on his tod) we had a great day, away from the madding crowd, only 100 miles but a real pleasure, on some great empty roads, what a great w/end and top peep's, especially Paul, Maria n their family n friends, they couldn't have been more welcoming, hail Takoda! n Hail James Ipswich biker for his wit, n attitude to his off, but more to the size of his towel, he's a man who knows where his towels at (see hitch hiker's guide to the universe by Douglas Adams), must learn by his example n pack much much much less! Had a gud ride home through the peak district, loads a bikes out n about, but held up by I kid you not thousands of scooters, miles of them on route to a rally, riding up to 4 a breast at 30 to 40 mph, like a re-run of Quadraphinia (James how do you spell that?) here's till the next one, dm
