well done on the 990
that area is my 'back garden' 8)
love the hill climb in first pics
was up moving sheep off the hills today
NB: Water-break-its-Neck has a voluntary TRO for the forseeable future, as the real route has not been used for years and will be reinstated at some point. going up past the barn is no longer the recognised right of way. gate is padlocked. real route is impassable
thinking of doing a few lanes

Re: thinking of doing a few lanes
lucky guy rob great area , haven't done water breaks its neck for years fantastic track I remember the big hole just past the barn a bit looked, on trailwise seems open walked it last year very overgrown. coming up through wolfpits to track with three gates were lane splits and goes down to kennels left track (boat) the one that goes to black yat had a home made sign saying lane pointing you away from it no good love that area loads to go at feel a 690 coming on next year get back into it
Re: thinking of doing a few lanes
hi bart 1 the kle has been moded a bit raised , very aggresive tyres anything thats not needed removed its a good trail bike and to be fair in the conditions yesterday would have been better than the 990 on the dirt because it ways 30 kg lighter and is a lot less powerfull but getting to the lanes some sixty miles no competition
Re: thinking of doing a few lanes
bit personal lol :woohoo: to be honest maybe a couple of kg of the bike , think its the rider were i can lose more , but to be fair for a budget off road bike it does ok and if i drop it it doesnt matter ive done some good lanes on it strata , hundred house and many more bits are cheap too (thumbs)

ooohhhhhhh nnnnnoooooooluckiegar wrote:but still a very under rated TRAIL BIKE
seeing that KLE makes me want to do another twin rally bike
if the multicylinder class wasn't +600cc i'd have done a KLE instead of the translap

I think a Versys engine would go in that frame, it looks more compact with its stacked gearbox etc, but loads of work.Rob 110 wrote:ooohhhhhhh nnnnnoooooooluckiegar wrote:but still a very under rated TRAIL BIKE
