Large spiders are one thing I can't do with if we get one in the house I cover it with a bowl & wait for the other half to release it outside I would have to top it couldn't do with catching it on way.

yes, on the odd evening I've had the heating - old cold house

I don't like to kill the big ones - they crunch too much :sick:
It's taken 10 yrs of self-training to be brave enough to catch them & throw them out. But that one has escaped :S

I used to live in a 500 year old house that was a haven for massive spiders. We fed one that lived in a dusty old web by the front door on pieces of mince. One crumb of meat each day dropped in the web in the evening. Gone by the morning. The spider was bigger than the palm of my hand. No pics as it was years ago when cameras were steam powered.

Snap, although at least she's outside. I was quietly having a ciggie when I caught sight of something out of the corner of my eye. I turned my head only for my hair to catch the web she was hanging from swinging the spider onto my nose. Now I usually like spiders but my wife said she could hear the shriek from the other end of our flat.

years ago, mum bought me one! I never used it - too scared to go near them. Dyson's worked much better

Oh i was near broken hill in Aus a few years ago...a mate was warering his garden and he suddenly told me to stand still and not move..then he turned the hose onto my bare feet.

I had a red back climbing up my right foot.....not nice.
