I had a similar problem on my Alp650..on long motorway rides the shoulders would all tighten up...fitted something similar to these but in black..

they made a huge difference with bars rotated back in the clamps..as it lifted my arms up ...also found swaping the std bars to a different radius Renthal bar helped the wrists..the std bars or me where to racked back so went for a more straighter bar...
Before changing bars go the riser route..then try some different bars on the same bike you have as all bikes have different set ups..
