I use Rain X on my car windows but never on my visor, tried it a few years ago and it took the anti scratch coating off

I tried Mr Sheen this morning in the drizzle.
Well bloody marvellous it was. Not much change below 30 but after that the rain just flew off the visor...great tip..thanks.

Maybe but i goto do something.
I have a Shark Evo 3 and while the helmet is great the visor is not.
Not sure if it's the tall screen on my Tenere that is causing strange wind flow behind it but if i have my visor open the smallest bit i find rain gets in just in the top corners of each side and seraight into my eyes. If i close it i get fogged up in seconds. I have tried anti fog stuff but this has an adverse impact. the visor seal on the Evo 3 have to be lubricated slightly with a bit of stuff supplied when new. If not the visor seals turn inside out and mean you can't close the visor completely. But anti fog stuff seems to dry up the rubber seals and remove the seal lubricant.
And in heavy rain it seems to stick to the visor making seeing anything very hard. before Mr Sheen water would simply not run off my visor in anyway and wiping it with my glove would just smear it.
I really like my lid but not in the rain....any ideas or is it just a combination of the wrong lid with the wrong bike screen.

Just use the recommended stuff for visors like what some of the others and myself have posted above.
It may look expensive, but two squirts is all it takes and mine has lasted me about a year now and is about half used.

+1 for Nikwax VisorProof.... I use it all the time and it really works well and doesn't affect the plastic.

Causes no problems at all as it is just the same as the coatings they ise in the moulds. Desogned to be ised pn plastoc laminates as furniture polish.
