Now i'm not interested in using it with my phone to take calls when riding etc. But what I would like to do is listen to music and be able to hear the directions through a set of earphones / headphones.

Whats the easiest way to acheive this. I'd prefer a wireless solution so no wires trailing down and being plugged into the unit.
IIRC with the zumo 220 you cant listen to music through it, unlike the zumo 660, there is also no earphone socket so the olny way to listen to the commands from the Zumo 220 its via bluetooth.
The BT Jabbra street with any set of headphones will work.
If I am wrong about the music thing let me know as I would like to know how for my Zumo 220.

i Have a zumo and use these etymotic 6i`s http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/er6i.aspx there is a two fold benifit, they are noise isolating so remove the need for ear plugs as they are better than standard plugs alone (downside is paying for petrol without removing helmet requires you to lipp read ! )
have superb sound quality, i find them all day comfortable and you listen to tunes and directions easily.
if you want quite you just mute sat nav.
have used these for years all over the world, tried others but never found better.
just my tuppence worth
can you run these through a bluetooth device ? they have 3.5mm jack

OK so far that's £50 for the Jabra say £30 for half decent in-ear phones. Another £15 and that's the price of the Scala Rider Q2 single! Scala Rider Solo is even cheaper. So one day you're out with Scala users and you'll wish you had one!

Anyway my exhaust is so quiet I have trouble hearing what my engine is doing so noise cancelling is out! When I tried in-ears they hurt when I took off my helmet and the wire always managed to get in the way or flap!

I'll shut up now!
