Very good middle weight bikie for one up riding , Not too expensive either !
I like mine !!!! they seem to be reliable too.
Any one found an inexpensive basic set of ally boxes for them ?

All the 650's are pretty much the same , only comestic changes in younger bikes . So if you can find a lowish mileage earlier one that has been looked after you would get a reliable bike that's a joy to drive .. of course how any bike has been looked after is paramount , and the usual checks . Overtightened chains , front sprocket shafts , brake calipers condition (need regular servicing, and made of swiss cheese) wheel rims ..

But since I have a 07 , I would get another .. like the style changes
:)

I find my 650TA does all I need of it, hence selling the Super Tenere.
The early and late 650s only have minor differences, I think, mostly in electrics for headlight always on.

for on-road the BT45 are much more economical than off-road tyres, I was getting 60+mpg with BT45 now getting 55ish with Gripsters.
