All the 650's are pretty much the same , only comestic changes in younger bikes . So if you can find a lowish mileage earlier one that has been looked after you would get a reliable bike that's a joy to drive .. of course how any bike has been looked after is paramount , and the usual checks . Can't get anywere near to 60+mpg from my Alp,more like 53mpg with the BT 45's on.dodursley wrote:for on-road the BT45 are much more economical than off-road tyres, I was getting 60+mpg with BT45 now getting 55ish with Gripsters.
