Slightly off topic, but a few years ago at Le Mans, a couple of mates got back to their 3 man tent where person no3 was already asleep sh1t faced.
"Ha Ha lets drag him outside" they thought......so they did. And left him right next to the door.
So.....at 5am, person No3 who is now outside. Thinks he's still inside and kneels up to swamp outside the tent. He finds the zip, drains his main vein and goes back to sleep.
Live by the sword, die by the sword :woohoo: :woohoo:
oh a camping tip...yes....mine would be "travel light, freeze at night!"
Get the best quality sleeping bag you can. And sleeping mat. And tent. And cooker.

And yes a small stool(not a No2!) is also useful.

Do not smoke inside tent after a drink. Also avoid lighting cig with gas cooker after a drink.

I like a good brew and with my small tubbaware lockable box of Illi coffee I pack one of these.
With enough water to make a medium or 2 small strong brews (Even tea with a round T bag) it will boil in about 70 seconds on a gas stove.
I have 3, and choose tiny, medium or big depending if I am alone or not.
Lightweight alloy and breaks down to smaller pieces to store away.
