Not quite right, but shows I was there! I couldnt pickout the right sign with my headlight and it was a VERY quiet village before I rolled up, and also I`d just been pulled by local plod and clipped a young Dear (scary moment) so was`nt going to carry on riding up and down.

8am this morning:- Northumberland (which we had to miss on the way back from Ullapool)

FINISHED at last! Total miles for the 2 days, 1517m and broke my personal 24 hour with 897m (not quite Ironbutt, more ABR lightlybruisedbutt!)
Once Ive recovered I`ll knock a ride report up as it turned out to be quite an epic with one thing or another!

Thanks James for setting the Challenge and Jimbo for your input! B)

I`ll pass on next years to concentrate on other rides and getting my hands mended ;)

cheers Marc

I recognise a fair few of those B)

So are you going to make gold before the cut off?
Thank you! I was just writing the second part when you posted! Just got it right with the weather (although it was effing freezing coming up the A1 early this morning, I was so so tempted to leave it at 19 as I past the York turn off!) and my lovely GF Sophie has to be thanked for egging me on!

Will you get chance to finish?

cheers Marc

Well done matey – welcome to the club.

Which destination / area was your favourite?
In June this year I undertook the whole Nature Rally in one trip, in aid of Riders for Health

Thank you and the same to you for the one hit ride!! not sure if its 3 0r 4 in da club??

I did`nt look around, I just went and got the pic!

Na... its hard to say because I`d been to nearly all of them in a previous life or past near to them in general travel, in fact on a few of them I`d stood where I parked my bike! but the main one at the top of the list to revisit is Glen Trool and then walk on from there! It felt magical there :)

I know what you mean about Glen Trool – the fact that it was one of the few places that it didn't rain might have helped, but the views from Bruce's Stone were simply stunning. It was the first time I'd been to Dumfries and Galloway. It certainly won't be the last.
