Peak District 8th Dec - it's a war zone

Post by AckAckFlack »

Great run today.
Thanks to KTMBlag, DRZdaggy, Tenbob, OliOnel

It was cold and windy and snow.
I had a ball ;-)
didn't take any photos as it was too wet to keep taking the gloves off

Well done Oli for keeping at it - only 2nd time out so well done. It doesn't get much worse than this ;-0

Great vids Gary. Looks like a great day out. Wish I could have been there.

And...what happened on Pindale. Have you ever made it up without coming off?

And respect to Oli for keeping going. Some tricky stuff.....especially as this was your second outing, and in far from ideal conditions. Trust me, it does get easier with time. The twin is not an easy bike to learn on, and picking it up all the time zaps energy quick. Keep at it.

Final one of the day - lots left on the cutting room floor
This is Bamford Clough - last time I did this resulted in a laying down and a return ticket.

Well done G-Man B)
"The trails of the world be countless, and most of the trails be tried.

You tread on the heels of many, till you come where the ways divide.

And one lies safe in the sunlight, and the other is dreary and wan, Yet you look aslant at the Lone Trail, and the Lone Trail lures you on....

....Bid good-bye to sweetheart, bid goodbye to friend, The Lone Trail, the Lone Trail, follow to the end.

Tarry not, and fear not, chosen of the true;

Lover of the Lone Trail, The Lone Trail waits for you"
