An hilarious experience in my youth involved putting a Triumph 750 Bonneville cylinder block in the topbox of my CB200 to take it for re-boring.
Up to then, I'd never been able to do a long wheelie. The CB200 was notable for having a strange padded strip on the centre of the top of the petrol tank. I'd always wondered what the point of it was up to then...it was to sit on when you had a topbox loaded with a Triumph cylinder bock. Honda thought of everything.
