I was camping 2 mile up the road at Ardmair last week when the hurricane hit!
"Poor effort Katia, 3/10, you need to huff & puff harder than that to blow the Terra Nova down"
Enjoy it, you're alive FFS - listen to the wind "n" rain, it's brilliant!
Wish I was there still.

I've had a couple of tents wrecked by the wind, hopefully the new Eurohike will be substantial enough to survive the weekend? LOL!
Bottle of Glen Moray in the left hand box, bring it on!
Hows things up there just now? Anyone on line?

Hello all. Hear at Ullapool yep-ee. The field is a bit wet but not too bad. Five people bikes hear already. Don't let the weather put you off. It's nice and calm now. No rain just now. Hardly any wind at the mo. See you all tomorrow.
Re: well i am at ullapool
Certainly won't be quiet once Fiona and me turn up! LOL!
The weather comes and goes this time of the year, luck of the draw really.
Still unsure of our route, weather and Dave will dictate! Meaning,,,, if it's fine and Dave's keen we'll maybe take a long way round, follow the Spey valley to Newtonmore then down Loch Laggan to Spean bridge, up the A82 to Drumnadrochit then on to Ullapool from there.
If it's wet we'll head straight over, should arrive by lunchtime, 12.30 ish,,, but decent weather and we'll take the long way, be there in time for supper!
See you there folks!

Try again next year with a stronger tent

Sorry to hear about your tent. We must of just missed you. Glad you enjoyed the run anyway. Maybe catch you next time.
Steve T wasn't wrong when he said the ground was rocky. If you haven't got decent pegs then best to get some. I've got a hammer to lend out so don't worry bringing one. See you all tomorrow.
