All change here.
Started getting itchy feet about heading back into the NHS but in a different role so quit my job as a repair specialist and just found a job as a Discharge coordinator…… I’m desperately hoping that I’m coordinating patients discharges, instead of coordinating discharge from patients 😂😂😂😂

But that gives me a few weeks before I start so I’ve booked a crossing to Calais and planning to ride up to Helsinki via Poland, Lithuania and Latvia then a ferry to Stockholm, a couple of days back down to Malmo then back through Germany. I’ve only got 18 days so it’s going to be pretty snug so I’ll have to break out the big guns for this one. It’ll be the PCX125 and travelling light…
Heading off on the 31st July so will keep you updated

Wow, that is a snug trip, I'm guessing a few long days to get into the north.

Ew discharge.
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Yeh, I think the longest one is 329 miles. That one’s going to be mid Germany to mid Poland 🤦🏼

Basically riding Magdeburg, Germany across to Bydgoszcz, Poland in a day, pretty much non-motorway and small roads if I can… depends a bit on time 👍

Looks as you are short on time.
But I would like to mention the option to continue from Helsinki to Åbo/Turku. And use local archipelago ferries to jump between islands to Sweden. Two days Turku-Stockholm. It is a special experience.
Blue and yellow lines on the map. All nice but blue is recommended.
Sleeping betweeb Åva and Torsholma, you can reach Stockholm next day.
