Just back from a nice trip to Portugal,
We Rode the ACT north to south then part of the TET on the return,
Couple of issues with a couple of the bikes that we overcame and possible broken ribs for one of the boys from an off on some boulders which meant last couple of days riding was tarmac only,
Still all thoroughly enjoyed it and only got wet in santander (both ways lol)
Dave.

Re: Portugal
Planning on doing the same trip as you in October! (Hopefully all ribs intact!) Out of interest did you get to Bracanca in one go from Santander? If so how many miles/hrs did it take? And how long to do the ACT route?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: Portugal
Hi dibbs,
We joined the ACT at mogaduro a bit below as we knew there was a municipal campsite that we have used before (clean site and nice town) it's about 275 miles from santander,
It took us about 5 days to get to the end from there not rushing but not dawdling either with an hour or so sat nav camping all the way,
It's a nice route with a few testing climbs in the mountains but the worst bits are probably the sand bits, I would choose a more aggressive front tyre than the pirelli rally str I had but it was very dry,
Have a good trip,
Dave.

Re: Portugal
Just completed it today, starting from north of Bracanca. We've taken 6 days but not pushed it. Staying in hotels, and with friends once, generally means a later start. Also an earlier finish spending time looking for somewhere to stay.
Great ride. The hardest part is certainly the second alternative "hard" section on day one. The first is fine. Sand was damp for us so quite manageable.
We stayed in the Picos the first night. Rode some of the TET there then blatted down to Portugal in the afternoon.
Just along for the ride.

Re: Portugal
Dibbs...I road from braganca direct by Fast roads and motorway to santander years ago on my ccm644 ..took about 6 hours....you would be better to find cheap digs near potes then ride down scenic roads to braganca allow 1 day...it all depends on weather...
Re: Portugal
Bit of an update from our trip the boys have got round to cleaning the bikes,
Here's the air filters,
Not looked at mine yet lol,
