Just a quick heads up (see what I did there),
Just ordered a new lid from a company in the Netherlands (chromeburner)
They were offering a shuberth c5 for £363 and stated that no import duty will incur,
Delivery was by fed ex, once it reached blighty they said i would have to pay the additional bill of £85,
So a couple of emails to fed ex and chromeburner suggested fed ex didn't know the rules so I ignored the second prompt to pay,
Anyhow here it is no fees and free delivery,
Dave.

Re: New helmet
Nice one . If customs and excise had issued the £85 surcharge then it wouldn't have been delivered until that was paid so it does sound like Fedex didn't know the rules....or were trying it on?... ...no pun intended...

I work in the Netherlands a lot and pop into chromeburner a lot.
Great bunch of people and always eager to help.
Bought all sorts off them without any hassle.

A quick update,
The robbing bastards at FedEx were still trying it on even after they delivered,
I wonder how many of us just paid the demands,
Just know your rights,
