Ok folks

Details on the food for the weekend

All food available from the on site Bar & Restaurant

Friday - The bar/restaurant is serving food until 8.45pm. If anyone wants to avail of food on the Friday it is recommended that you book a table in advance at www.beirnesofbattlebridge.ie alternatively you can 071 9620802 (00353719620802 if calling from the UK) to make your booking

Menu can be viewed here www.beirnesofbattlebridge.ie/menu

Saturday - I have booked a table for 8pm We have secured an ABR Special - a three course meal from the main menu at 24 Euro per head (normally 28 Euro) anyone wanting the steak it will be a 10 Euro supplement

Sunday - There is a buffet breakfast served until 11am - normal price 13 Euro - ABR Special - 11Euro - it includes full cooked, tea, coffee, toast etc

I have been advised that it would be best to book a table for breakfast too - so, like Friday - it is recommended that if you wish to have breakfast on the Sunday you contact Beirnes direct and secure your table

[Details of Saturday Ride Out

Depart site 0800 with a full tank and empty bladder :D

We will make our way to Ballinmore via the R209 R210 & R208

from Ballinmore its North on the R202, R200 & R206 & join the N16 West to Glenfarne

Breakfast stop at Glenfarne at the Lavender Restaurant - sit down full Irish Cooked breakfast, tea/coffee, toast & home made brown bread 10 Euros per person - aiming to be there for 0900 - this should hopefully set us up food wise for the day

After breakfast we will make our way to Lough Melvin and do a circuit of Aghavoghil bog/mountain.

From here its through Kinlough & out to Mullaghamore & a small section of the Wild Atlantic Way

Inland again to the Gleniff Horseshoe, then on to Glencar Lough & Waterfall

We will then make our way to Loughs Gill & Allen and the Lough Allen Drive before returning to Battlebridge campsite

Roughly 170 miles

There will be frequent stops for smoke, squirt etc - should get a coffee/bun stop along the way too

A mixture of roads including single track, grass in the centre - no un-surfaced

Not familiar with this neck of the woods so there could be a wrong turn or two along the way - hopefully not a dead end - so we can just keep going until I see somewhere I recognize

Aiming to be back for 6-7pm

Could I ask that folk who wish to avail of the ride out & breakfast to express their interest here to give me and the Lavender Restaurant an idea of numbers

Thanks

Flintlock

Very sorry guys but I am now unable to attend the rally. I was looking forward to catching up with you all.

I did have a double room booked for the two nights in the Leitrim Lodge which I am now going to cancel.
So hopefully someone can grab it
