Looks like the riders who adopted the Clarkson ‘power’ mantra got through the pond better than the riders who adopted the Captain Slow mantra…

Great stuff. This is my kind of territory - I love a good puddle. As has been said, you'll never get past that by creeping through; you've got to commit. And of course it gets harder and harder as time goes on and the mud spreads out. My personal problem with getting out of a mess like this is that I'm usually laughing so much I can't find the energy to carry on. Better to stop, have a fag and take some pics of the other victims...
