Resole Sidi Adventure boots
My Sidi adventure boots need new soles, who do you use? GB Bike Leathers want £98 plus postage to resole them. They can't be done by a regular cobbler unfortunately, they need a large boot press to bond the sole to the upper.
Current bike is a Yamaha T7

Had mine done by them 18 months ago. Perfect job, just couldn’t fault, and I’m very picky. No one else would touch them, I tried all over. Bit steep, but they are good boots. If the uppers are good, why not? You get what you pay for. Cheers Nige.

I also have a pair of these and am curious as to how the Gore-Tex lining would be affected by resoling, assuming they are Gore-Tex ones of course.
A couple of years ago my MKI Sidi Adventure boots started leaking but Gore-Tex honoured their warranty and replaced them with the MKII version.

Re: Resole Sidi Adventure boots
I have a friend who repairs walking boots and has done a few boots for us, the professional glues are very expensive and the soles cost £30+ so £100 doesn't seem far out of the way when you consider it's a couple of hours work. Alternatively sell them and put the money towards a new pair, I've seen worn out Sidi ADV boots sell for £70 on ebay.
