Re: PLEASE SHOW RESPECT
You forgot to mention the blood thirsty Midgies when the incessant wind and rain eases, pot holes and gravel, caravans, camper vans and sneaky speed traps......
Glasgow is still a bit of a no-go area so Weegie salads will be off the menu (saving your arteries)
If you can brave that lot you are welcome. Come June I'm normally heading south to the Yorkshire Moors and Dales, still not sure this year though.

Re: PLEASE SHOW RESPECT
I was working in Lockerbie yesterday. Then headed south back to Cheshire at 17:30. By the time I got to Lancashire the M6 was packed with Bikes, caravans, campers and cars all heading North......some obviously to the Lake District, but I suspect most heading to Scotland.
I agree with Al......when heading into a foreign country, you are an ambassador for your own country, be respectful.

PLEASE SHOW RESPECT
What do you expect ?
Foreign borders are mainly closed and no travel allowed (very costly testing if you can)
So everyone is going to staycation in the uk
It’s mayhem
Rowdy Brits are usually on the Costa’s and now they’re here
This is the long stay car park of our market town on the NY Moors (despite 3-4 campsites within 3 Miles of this spot) staying overnight and pissing in the bushes - all to save £20 in campsite fees when they have spent £40,000 plus on a motorhome
No hope for some humans
I agree with Al

We buy things we don't need
With money we don't have
To impress people we don't even like

Jeez. Me and my missus have just bought our second caravan and we're staying at home. The UK is way behind Europe when it comes to service points for RV,s. Most of those motorhomes have got on board toilets so there's no need to piss in the bushes is there. Wankers.

Re: PLEASE SHOW RESPECT
Very nearly bought one myself JB but then I realised that there'll be no campsite availability. Maybe next year when they're all back in Spain and the van prices are more reasonable.
This year it's Cambridge on a barge in June, Lakes/Dales with van+bikes in August and Scotland with van+bikes late September.
Use but not abuse and leave no trace.

Open your eyes and you see what is in front of you, open your mind and you see a bigger picture but open your heart and you see a whole new World.
