Costa Vicentina Portugal

Post by ErikGustav2 »

This story is from a one day tour in ALgarve Portugal.
From Albufeira to Costa Vicentina and back.

The Costa Vicentina is the Western coast of the Algarve
https://www.myguidealgarve.com/regio...osta-vicentina

The area is a national park

This was the plan

I did not go to the the most far corner. Sagres. And Lighthouse of Cabo de São Vicente
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lighthous ... ão_Vicente
That was a separate trip.
(Maybe another post)
Also Silves on the way back is worth a separate visit.

The trip was 300 km.

Bordeira

Post by ErikGustav2 »

The road from Albufeira to Vila do Bispo is not muck to say about.
Mainly boring N125.
From Vila do Bispo,it is close to Sagres and the Lighthouse of Cabo de São Vicente.
But that will be another post.
I turned north on N268 towards Bordeira.
With it's beatiful coast.

To get some nice driving, I continued North on N120 to Odemira.
From there to Monchique are nice and twisty roads.
