A recent week away to the West Coast in a Camper Van I spotted this T7 parked up at Eilean Donan Castle;

GP in the sky with rough diamonds ?

Dunno what this is all about, these Moto GP displays on the PO tower this afternoon. Makes a change from the "stay safe " message normally up there every day :)

Greetings,

Amazing how fast the fog and mist cleared this morning. Looking towards Disley.

Across the valley is the old Buxton road from Disley where a murder took place in the late 18C and there is a small monument stone at the side of the road.

Interesting. Are you looking from the Chinley area?
On a Friday my round takes me from Whaley Bridge to Disley on Buxton Old Road and then i turn down Wards Lane and then go to Corks Lane and then Ring O Bells Lane before heading down Hagg Bank Lane and then down into Strines and then back up through a farmyard on Redmoor Lane toward the Buxton Old Road again.
Wherabouts is this small monument?

The location is noted in this account.
A sad, pitiful story that ended with a nineteen year old lad at the gallows.

We hired this brilliant Camper Van (Fiat Ducato) out last week for a week for my 60th birthday, a surprise from my wife. We drove 800 miles in/around the beautiful West Coast of Scotland, off grid stuff, utterly fabulous times in this Van which was called; Hamish.

I'd say within the next few years we'll try have a Camper Van as we aim for retirement etc, such a laid back way to travel/off grid material - fabulous!!
