Just be wary of making sparks near the battery, particularly just after it's been charged ..... a recipe for a faceful of acid - don't ask how I know!

Mmmm, heard of a tractor battery that went up under similiar circumstances some years ago, a sound warning HB :(

Safer than doing it the other way around because you don't risk touching the battery lead on the frame in all the excitement and discovering you've learned how to weld!
