Richard I thought it was a Laverda or Guzzi parallel twin.
There was a Guzzi two-stroke 250 twin, certainly. I didn't see a Morini, there was one in the programme in the C72 class, but I think that's more likely to be a single. The first prototype V-twins appeared in 1972, but as the Strada and Sport 350ccc roadbikes.

We visited there about five years ago. A fascinating history.
Great photo....is it a big leaf or a rock, bu**er! It was a rock.
