Thanks all, especially Hobobeemer for going the extra mile I think there is a bit to be going on with there, a bit of history, culture, engineering, scenery, seafood, and a bit of grass in the sumpguard, we shall see how it pans out. As someone who rides mainly in Mid Wales or rural Europe riding in congested England and its heavily limited speed limits can make for a frustrated ride at times, not that I ride fast but it has turned me 180 degrees in the past, the condition of the tar will not be a problem dont worry Hobo. just waiting for the gates to be unbolted now, although I do get a few miles in, no car, working and volunteering so still wearing a bit of rubber out . Stay safe and keep the wheels turning those of you that can.

thanks Sanqhar already on route probably the main attraction to the area for me, if I win the lottery I'll take a ground spin too, seen those precious old warbirds flying so many times will be nice to see them at home, been to Duxford a couple of times but the shuttleworth collection or the Mossie place are other's on the loop that I have not been to .

I will just chime in again as I missed it off my post..

If you get down as far as what I posted up, leave a day to head to Hendon to the RAF museum, not been a for a few years but very very good location and it is free from memory.

https://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/ obviously closed at the moment but would expect that to change in due course..

Regards

Over the Humber bridge then North to the Wolds for some good country lanes with great views. Through Beverley to Driffield, Fish and chips at Wetwang, nice cafes in Malton.

Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington (just outside York, where I think that numpty from Top Gear crashed).

A bit further North and you are in the North York Moors for more great riding and the odd steam railway.

My dad used to fly lancasters during the war, so interested to go on one of those taxi rides.
