Wow, that brings back a few good memories, had a look and nearest I got was long straight coast line that ran along side the same road.

Re: LONG STRAIGHT ROADS
I don't like long straight roads as it's difficult to keep your concentration, I feel much more switched on when playing on the twisty bits.
I tend to do more miles but have a lot more fun which for me atleast is what I enjoy most.
Just saying

Re: LONG STRAIGHT ROADS
This little slice of heaven was somewhere between Soria and Albarracín in Spain on the way to the HISS rally in 2016. The lack of traffic made it even more amazing.
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Re: LONG STRAIGHT ROADS
Our last two car holidays I found my mind wandering on long straight roads - Canada and South Africa.AdventureDisco wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 12:31 pm I don't like long straight roads as it's difficult to keep your concentration, I feel much more switched on when playing on the twisty bits.

But the back roads are great fun, even if it takes 50% longer. And you see stuff you wouldn't otherwise and find better food and drink stops.

Re: LONG STRAIGHT ROADS
Somewhere east of Madrid and west of Valencia in 2016. From memory I think it was near Cuenca. This road was perfectly straight for mile after mile and not a sole on it. Awesome fun on my Fazer thou...
