oh, and there are loads of dealers. When I rode it back in the summer they were actively encouraging test-rides even if you weren't 'ready to buy', and you filled in feedback forms etc with constructive criticism asked for. Royal Enfield is a big player in the world market, and part of the massive Eicher Holdings ...a huge Indian industrial conglomerate that's associated with Volvo Group (they each own shares in the other). But much of the R&D is conducted at Bruntingthorpe in the English midlands, and Enfield acquired Harris Performance to work on chassis R&D. So, really, it's just as 'British' as the modern Triumph

Given the number of units sold in the UK, I expect that better suspension will come in the aftermarket soon.
That's really the only 'cheap' part of the current bike...but there's no hi-tech colour screen or whatever. However that's a good thing in my view. I'm not keen on on television, and certainly not when I'm riding.
